How do I know it's bedbugs?
Small, itchy bites in lines or clusters, tiny dark spots on sheets or mattress seams, and occasionally the bugs themselves: flat, brown and about the size of an apple seed. If you're not sure, a professional or K9 inspection will settle it.
Which treatment is right for me?
Space heat treatment solves the problem in one visit with no chemicals. Chemical treatment takes four to six weeks of applications and needs some preparation from you. Equipment rental suits smaller jobs, like treating your belongings before a move. Call us and a specialist will talk you through it.
Do I need to leave the house during treatment?
For heat treatment, yes: your home is held at sauna temperatures for 12 or 24 hours, so people, pets and plants need to be elsewhere. We'll tell you exactly what to take with you. After a chemical application you'll need to stay out for a few hours.
Is it safe for children and pets?
Heat treatment uses no chemicals at all, so once your home has cooled it is completely safe. Where we use a chemical or Aprehend treatment we'll tell you exactly what was applied and how long to keep children and pets away from it.
Do I have to throw away my mattress or furniture?
Almost never. Heat treats mattresses, sofas and bed frames in place. Throwing furniture out often spreads the problem to the hallway and the street.
How much does it cost?
It depends on the size of the property, the treatment you choose and how far the infestation has spread. Call for a free assessment and you'll get a clear price before any work starts, with no hidden extras.
What does the guarantee cover?
If you see bedbugs within six months of a full treatment, call us and we come back and treat again at no cost. Any conditions are written on your quote.
